Learn moreWhy sector knowledge changes the build
Generic software is built for the average business, and no one actually runs the average business. A clinic's no-show problem, a letting agent's compliance deadlines and a tradesperson's quote-on-site workflow are completely different jobs — and the off-the-shelf tools that claim to cover all of them usually solve none of them well. Knowing a sector means the first conversation starts at "here's what usually breaks in businesses like yours" rather than a blank whiteboard.
It also changes what we'll recommend. In some sectors the honest answer is an off-the-shelf platform configured properly — and we'll say so, because we sell outcomes rather than build hours. Custom software earns its cost when you're bending your process around a tool, paying per-seat or per-unit fees that punish growth, or need integrations the platforms won't do. Each page below sets out where that line usually falls for the sector, what we typically build, and answers to the questions owners in that industry actually ask.
Every engagement follows the same shape regardless of sector: a free conversation about the problem, a fixed-price proposal in plain English, and working software delivered in stages — so you see progress early rather than waiting months for a big reveal.
