What is vibe coding, and why would it need a review?
Vibe coding is building software by prompting AI tools — Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, ChatGPT — and iterating on what they produce. It’s a genuinely fast way to ship, but the tools optimise for code that works in the demo, not code that’s secure, scalable and cheap to run. A review closes that gap: a senior engineer checks what the AI built before your users, your traffic or an attacker do it for you.
My app works fine. Do I really need this?
“Works fine” and “is safe” are different claims. The most common issues we find — exposed keys, missing authorisation, unbounded queries — are invisible in normal use. They only show up when someone goes looking, and the first person to go looking is rarely friendly. If the review finds nothing serious, you get a clean bill of health and genuine peace of mind; that outcome is on the table too.
Which tools and stacks do you cover?
Anything the mainstream AI builders produce: Next.js/React, Node, Python, Supabase, Firebase, Vercel, Netlify and the usual database and auth services. If your stack is more unusual, we’ll confirm fit on the scoping call before quoting — we don’t take on reviews we can’t do properly.
How much does a vibe coding review cost?
It’s fixed-price based on the size of the codebase, agreed in writing before we start — typically from £950 for an MVP-sized product. The scoping call is free, and if what you actually need is a smaller sanity check or a bigger rebuild, we’ll say so plainly rather than sell you the wrong thing.
Will you just tell me to rewrite it properly?
Almost never. Most AI-built products are salvageable, and plenty are better than their founders fear. The report separates what must change from what can stay, and we’re happy for you to keep vibe coding afterwards — ideally with the guardrails we help you set up, so speed stops costing you safety.
